The Free Lance-Star published an article about how the landfill is losing money. the R-Board is using that as a justification for allowing an incinerator to be built at the Eskimo Hill Road landfill. The reality is that the R-Board took many actions to cause the landfill to lose revenue, and almost no actions to increase revenue. Garbage haulers do not pay enough money to cover costs, and so are getting subsidies Why?
